L.A.-based Triarchy launched in 2012, claiming their stake in the industry through sustainable practices and materials, and their very own Atelier line made from vintage repurposed denim.

Adam Taubenfligel of Triarchy Denim. When was the first time you heard about sustainability? The first time it really came up, was when our team, my brother, sister, and I, saw The True Cost. It was after our runway show at Toronto fashion week. We watched it and realized the world doesn’t need another denim brand.

We sat down with Adam Taubenfligel of Triarchy Denim to discuss his journey from awareness to action and how mindfulness, curiosity, and engagement keep him, and his team, always moving forward. Adam Taubenfligel of Triarchy Denim When was the first time you heard about sustainability?

However with time and the growth of the brand it became very clear to us that denim was Adam Taubenfligel. Canadian brand, Triarchy is one of the biggest supporters of sustainably produced denim. Not only have they re-invented their own brand to become completely sustainable, but they also have received received the prestigious Fashion Impact Award at the 5th Annual Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards, CAFA, this year. Adam Taubenfligel’s favorite pair of jeans is the world’s first plastic-free stretch denim jeans designed for his eco-conscious brand Triarchy. These jeans give you the comfort of stretch without having to wear plastic. Your body gets full mobility, and your skin gets full breathability.
